50 years of research in positive human psychology
Do you have the opportunity to do what you do best every day?
Chances are, you may not. All too often, our natural talents go untapped. Most often we spend time fixing our shortcomings than to developing on our strengths.
Developed by Gallup and invented by Don Clifton, father of Strengths Psychology, the StrengthsFinder now known as CliftonStrengths is an online assessment intended to uncover and measure a person’s key talents through consistent patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviours. These patterns are categorised into 34 broad themes or strengths, of which, the top five themes of talent from the list of 34 potential strengths are highlighted in a report to indicate areas where an individual’s greatest potential can be build on.
Anyone can take the online assessment on www.gallupstrengthscenter.com for USD19 but without guidance from a certified coach, it would take more effort to make sense of the report and know how to apply it in everyday life.
